We are the Rey sisters and this is our business! If you ever took a Spanish class and remember anything from your courses, Rey is the Spanish word for king. That’s just it! We aim to provide regal quality translation and interpretation services. Many people use the two words interchangeably, but interpreting and translating are different. Interpreting is done orally in real time, and translating is the written process by which the same is achieved.
We grew up in Venezuela in a Colombian household as our parents were recent immigrants. The differences between the Spanish from these two neighboring countries was something we were both aware of from a young age.
Since we were kids, our dream was to work together with languages. We love what we do and we are passionate about language and the communication process between people of different cultures and backgrounds.
Both of us have been interpreting and translating for almost 20 years. We have experience in highly technical and complex interpreting for medical and legal professions and in the courts, and have translated a wide variety of documents, ranging from public notices, brochures, and employee manuals to medical reports, contracts and legal documents.
